China's Plush Toy Export to Exceed A New Top
The newspaper quoted president of the China Toy Association, as saying that stuffed toy export, mainly affected by the severe acute respiratory syndrome in May and June last year, showed increase momentum in July and is expected to set an annual record high.
Most comapnies export the plush toys, stuffed toys. I think this is for meeting more people's requirment. Because Toys are mainly given to children as a gift, who like the soft and cute toys. So obviously, plush animal toys or some stuffed animal toys are their favorate.
An international stuffed toy, model and present exhibition will be held, so far nearly 100 domestic and international famous plush toys brands, including many toy brands like "Tomy"of Japan and the Disney princess series of the United States, have applied for the event.
They believe that the exhibition will provide a good opportunity for China to promote its own plush toy brands and stimulate the entire plush toy industry.
With about 8,000 toy plants, China now stands as the world's largest toy manufacturer, producing 75 percent of world toys, and exports plush toys to more than 100 countries and regions. In 2002, China's toy export reached 9.9 billion US dollars.
